Our Mission

Melbourne MCS (Melbourne Multicultural Community Services) is a not for profit organisation which focuses on supporting vulnerable individuals facing challenges like language barriers, poverty, isolation, and disability. Our work aligns with addressing poverty and social isolation within multicultural communities.

Age Care

At Melbourne MCS, we specialise in providing aged care services tailored to the unique needs of individuals from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds. We recognise and value the importance of culturally responsive in-home personal care, ensuring our clients receive support that respects their language, traditions, and way of life.

Disability

MMCS is actively on its journey to becoming an NDIS-registered service provider. We are committed to adopting the NDIS’s ‘lifetime approach,’ ensuring Australians with loved ones who have disabilities will receive comprehensive care and support, providing lasting peace of mind.

Social Support Groups

Our program offers participants the chance to connect with new people, build friendships, and engage in a variety of enjoyable social activities at our center. These activities are designed to promote both physical and mental well-being.

Settlement Engagement

Melbourne MCS supports newly arrived humanitarian entrants, eligible permanent migrants, and their communities in addressing settlement needs through the Settlement Engagement and Transition Support (SETS) Program.

Community Visitors Scheme

MMCS aims to empower individuals and communities by implementing community development strategies that encourage active participation in Australian society.
